by entering our Oktoberfest raffle to raise funds to rebuild our birds of prey facility at Avalon Faire. These magnificent creatures deserve the best environment we can give them while they entertain us throughout our Faire season. The old building is in a sad state. Support the birds of prey and have a chance at winning this exquisite, collectible stein. Our financial goal is $5,000.

This authentic 1970’s vintage Thewalt stein is No. 327/5000 of a limited edition was produced from ceramic molds created in 1894. The designs commemorate the medieval roots of the Thewalt factory building in what is now western Germany. The “Grenzau” mark on the bottom of the stein features an image of a castle that overlooks the factory – the only triangular medieval tower in all of Europe. The lid is highly decorated in vintage German pewter.
