Step into the ancient tradition of mead, the medieval era’s most delicious gift to humankind. Guests are invited to discover the art and alchemy behind this storied honeyed drink, learning how it is crafted while sampling a thoughtfully curated selection of classic and flavored meads. Avalon Faire proudly features mead from RenMead, a celebrated Texas meadery. A friendly and knowledgeable representative from RenMead will guide the tasting, sharing insight, history, and flavor notes to enrich the experience. This engaging tasting is perfect for those eager to expand their palate and savor a timeless medieval delight.

A Joyous Celebration for Young Nobles & Commoners Alike Hark! The heralds of spring have arrived, and with them, a bounty of hidden treasures scattered throughout the village. You are cordially invited to step into a day of laughter and surprises as we seek the hidden gems of the season. Let the young and the young-at-heart join in a spirited quest filled with the magic of a Medieval springtime. The Quest for Treasure To ensure every traveler finds joy, the Easter Bunny’s helpers shall provide multiple egg-placement shifts throughout the day. From the first light of morning until the shadows grow long, the hunt continues! The Spirit of the Village We ask all parents and guardians to guide their little ones in the way of chivalry and moderation. By ensuring each seeker takes only their fair share, there shall be eggs enough for every child in the realm.

King's Feast: $55 (online only; no gate sales)

An Exclusive After-Hours Engagement for the Noble & Notable Hark! You are cordially invited to step beyond the veil of twilight and into an evening of royal indulgence. This exclusive after-hours gathering offers guests the rare chance to feast like royalty at a grand banquet, accompanied by live entertainment and dancing that carries on late into the night. Guests must check in promptly, as the gates will close at 7:00 PM. Late entry will not be permitted, so arrive early to ensure your place among the honored company. Seating is open.* This is an intimate and elevated experience designed for those seeking a night of elegance, enchantment, and high-spirited celebration. *if you have a group you would like seated together, please contact entertainment@avalonfaire.com to make arrangements.

Torchlight & Tankards: $45 online ($55 at the gate no food guaranteed)
AFTER-HOURS EVENT: April 25, 2026 7:30pm to midnight; no Faire admission required to attend; 21+, IDs will be checked. Event area is restricted to The Hawkswood.
After the nobles have retired, the Rabble takes over! Join us for an adults-only evening of music, mischief, and merriment under the firelight. Savor hearty tavern fare, revel in raucous performances, and let the spirit of the revel carry you deep into the night. 21+ only. All beverages are sold separately.

School Day: $8/person w/o lunch, $12/person w/ lunch (hot dog, chips, drink)

Join us for a special day dedicated to education and entertainment! Avalon Faire is committed to providing not only family fun, but also an immersive educational experience for students and young adventurers. -Explore the sights and sounds of a medieval world, including: -Knightly competitions: witness skill, courage, and pageantry in action -Falconry demonstrations: learn about the role of birds of prey in medieval life -Hands-on historical activities: engage with interactive crafts, demonstrations, and experiences inspired by medieval arts and daily life Students and visitors will gain a deeper appreciation for history, culture, and traditions while enjoying the excitement of Avalon Faire.
Camping

Bring your RV or tent and camp in our lush, green site just steps away from the faire. There are hot showers and port-a-potties for your comfort. Generators are allowed; electric and water hook-ups are also available for RVs. All camping fees are good from Friday noon through the following Monday, noon.
Bonus: Join us under the stars each evening at the communal bonfire to share music, stories, and good company.
RV or Tent primitive camping*: $35 per weekend (admittance to Faire not included); $200.00 Camp-a-Lot season camping (includes one Faire season pass!)
RV camping with hook-ups*: $65 per weekend (admittance to Faire not included); $350 Camp-a-Lot Season Camping (includes two Faire passes!)
*A $50.00 deposit will be collected, to be refunded at check-out upon approval of condition of campsite. Deposits are collected onsite by check or cash only.
The campground is open from 12 noon on Friday until 12 noon on Monday every weekend that Avalon Faire is open. Unless staying for the run of the faire, please clear your site by noon on Monday so the grounds can be prepared for the following weekend.
